9th Month

Now keerthana is uttering so many words and to grasp only few like dada, adde adde etc, i hope she likes me most thats why dada. the other developments that are she is trying to stand with little support and to our surprice she is taking couple steps on her own with the support of our sofa and bed. and I thank my God for protecting her all these days as she fell couple of times but nothing happened.

This month will be taking her to Doctor to administer any vaccinations.

First Words

Yesterday she uttered her first words like da da tha tha apart from saying ubbu, hai ubbu which she said when she was 4 months old which ultimately become her pet name (ubbu).
being summer we added saesonal fruit Mango to her daily deit which she loves alot additional to her regular banana.

she loves to listen to songs and we used the same for making her to sleep. and the other major milestone that she achieved is ability to crawl, sit and try to stand with some support on her own.

Kurien's Baby Dedication Party

Saturday we took Keerthana to Deepaks house to visit aunt and congratulate Deepak for his Engagement that took place on 29th May. We spent some time watching engagement video and left the place little early and as soon as we reached home it started to rain heavily and we thanked the Lord for his protection otherwise it could have been very terrible in that heavy rain with Keerthana being so little.

Sunday we took Keerthana for Kuriens Baby Dedication party at Campus Crusade Bangalore. It was good and the food was delicious and we fed Keerthana small scoops of IceCream and this is her first time tasting IceCream.

8 th Month

I thank my Lord as my baby enters into her 8th month of her life.
and i could see everyday progress in her motor skill developments as she is able to sit on her own and succeeded in moving forward by crawling.

We changed her diet from regular Dal Palak cerelac along with feeding her milk to rice dal and vegetable cerelac as milk feeding continues.

I and Nireesh successfully finished our first marathon without break and we took 1Hr 26 min and 1Hr 10 minutes to complete the same.

Sunfeast Open 10K-Marathon

Since last two weeks keerthana is also coming to park and looks around as i do my regular jogging so as to participate in Bangalore Sunfeast Open 10K-Marathon which is going to happen on this coming sunday.
now she is very much enjoying with me spending lot of time on weekends with her is most valuable things of my life.
yesterday prem came home to capture on his sony handycam.
now she is making lot of noises and makes every one to laugh along with her.
we fed her some slices of mango fruit of which she found very tasty and interesting.

Youth Camp

Today evening at 5 PM we as a family are leaving to ACTS academy to spend 3 complete days in knowing the LORD more.
Keerthanan is trying to stand and sit whenever she gets even little support.
everyday is like a new learning with our baby as we see her smiling giggling and lauging at will and what not, it is simply awesom,
truly Me and deepika are thankful to our LORD Jesus for blessing and entrusting keerthana in to our hands and we as stewards of GODs property will try to bless her and bring her up in the ways of the LORD.

Baby Dedication

This sunday i.e 20/04/2008 we have dedicated our Keerthana to our LORD JESUS in ALL PEOPLES CHURCH, Bangalore Central by Ps. Ashish Raichur.
