10th Month

31st July 2008- Dave gave us his panasonic handycam on my request to shoot the first steps of my baby but was able to capture only one step in whole miniDV tape and i hope she would take little longer for her to take couple of steps maybe one or two weeks more.

2nd Aug 2008- Morning i went to Prems home to bring the cot and now we have 6*4 two cots so plenty of room for Keerthana to play around as she likes. and in the afternoon Vijay's family had come for the lunch. we had some good time of fellowship.

9th Aug 2008- We visited prems home in the morning as we spend some time. Prems daughter Ester had sung many songs to Keerthana, Vanitha had put her socks and gave her radium fish which shines in the night and Keerthana looks at that in amazement while the room slight darkar. and the same day we were invited by Obilesh for lunch so we all(our family, prems family) together had nice lunch and spent lot of time sharing on their terrace and Keerthana was enjoying her time right from the lunch to we departed. I thank the Lord for the time that we spent there and in prems house.

13th Aug 2008- Lata had visited our home around lunch time and for the first time Keerthana had bye to Lata and she was in real happy mood.

MMR-Vaccination

Friday i.e 18th July we have administered MMR vaccination to Keerthana by Ideal Clinic @ RT Nagar, Bangalore-32.

Saturday i.e 19th July Dave, Mercy and Ashish had visited our home for Dinner where keerthana and Ashish played alot. in the picture is the David John(DJ) their second son who is 3 months younger to Keerthana.

Sunday i.e 20th July Ibought IFB Senarita Plus 5kg front load washing machine. the same day myself, Deepika and Keerthana were drenched in the rain on our way to church impartation service as a result Deepika and Keerthana got cold and are under mild medication.

Monday i.e 21st July Nireesh had come from Kannapur as his 2nd year of BBM classes had started.

cedarmont kids

My family would like to thank God for Prem who had given us this DVD (cedarmont kids) which Keerthana is enjoying immensely and i cant put in words as how much Keerthana keeps herself busy in watching, clapping, saying some thing to herself and sitting in pram during which my wife does all the house hold chores.

We also thank our LORD JESUS for protecting keerthana from injuries as she has fallen many times while crawling and standing with some support.

14th July 2008: Ruth Ida's 2nd Birthday for which we were there and had dinner. It was a rainy day.

Milestones

27th June--Vijay Dhar's Daughters Rejoice Crisolite's 1st birthday celebrations Keerthana gave her first kiss to Dada it was most pleasant and happy moment.

1st July--Visited sony handycam showroom to inquire about the handycam and the show room manager Mr.Mansoor requested of taking some snaps of Keerthana and he was glad in having the snaps of keerthana, i asked him to send those snaps.

1st week of July--Keerthana started walking on her own with the little support of sofa.

4th July-Have visited Ideal clinic in R.T.Nagar, Bangalore for Measles vaccination for which Dr.Vanitha said we were little early for that and asked us to come on 18th July for the same.
Keerthana weighted 8.3 kgs and 70cm height.

6th July- We have been to David strictland's El-Bethel Baptist International Church dedication service.

9th Month

Now keerthana is uttering so many words and to grasp only few like dada, adde adde etc, i hope she likes me most thats why dada. the other developments that are she is trying to stand with little support and to our surprice she is taking couple steps on her own with the support of our sofa and bed. and I thank my God for protecting her all these days as she fell couple of times but nothing happened.

This month will be taking her to Doctor to administer any vaccinations.

First Words

Yesterday she uttered her first words like da da tha tha apart from saying ubbu, hai ubbu which she said when she was 4 months old which ultimately become her pet name (ubbu).
being summer we added saesonal fruit Mango to her daily deit which she loves alot additional to her regular banana.

she loves to listen to songs and we used the same for making her to sleep. and the other major milestone that she achieved is ability to crawl, sit and try to stand with some support on her own.

Kurien's Baby Dedication Party

Saturday we took Keerthana to Deepaks house to visit aunt and congratulate Deepak for his Engagement that took place on 29th May. We spent some time watching engagement video and left the place little early and as soon as we reached home it started to rain heavily and we thanked the Lord for his protection otherwise it could have been very terrible in that heavy rain with Keerthana being so little.

Sunday we took Keerthana for Kuriens Baby Dedication party at Campus Crusade Bangalore. It was good and the food was delicious and we fed Keerthana small scoops of IceCream and this is her first time tasting IceCream.
