12th Month

6Sep2008-I am not updating this anymore as i am recording everything on my handycam. and she is grinding her teeth may be once in a day. i have not captured this one.

18Sep2008-We left to our native place Armoor in Kachiguda express train this is Keerthana's second train journey. Initially she cried for about 30 min than later started playing and walking to and fro in the passage holding two toys in her both hands and teasing everyone on her way.

19Sep2008-We are in my place armoor by 11AM and Keerthana readily went to my mother as if she knows her very well. there we fed her custard-apple first time and she liked it. and her second upper teeth is on its way.

20Sep2008-I took my wife and Keerthana in our maruthi 800 car to my wife's place.and she will be there untill 2nd Oct.

Its a change of place, people and water for Keerthana for about 3 weeks and so far she got along with all these changes with out any issues or problems.

11th Month

25 Aug 2008- We took Keerthana along with Prems wife Vanitha for her ear piercing in Alice Jewels in commercial street, she cried alot after seeing so many people there as they are holding her tightly.

29 Aug 2008- She started walking her own a couple of steps.

1st Sep 2008-She got her first teeth (upper first right from the middle partition)

nowadays she started saying lot of words like dada, ada, tata and many more which i cant put in exact words.

10th Month

31st July 2008- Dave gave us his panasonic handycam on my request to shoot the first steps of my baby but was able to capture only one step in whole miniDV tape and i hope she would take little longer for her to take couple of steps maybe one or two weeks more.

2nd Aug 2008- Morning i went to Prems home to bring the cot and now we have 6*4 two cots so plenty of room for Keerthana to play around as she likes. and in the afternoon Vijay's family had come for the lunch. we had some good time of fellowship.

9th Aug 2008- We visited prems home in the morning as we spend some time. Prems daughter Ester had sung many songs to Keerthana, Vanitha had put her socks and gave her radium fish which shines in the night and Keerthana looks at that in amazement while the room slight darkar. and the same day we were invited by Obilesh for lunch so we all(our family, prems family) together had nice lunch and spent lot of time sharing on their terrace and Keerthana was enjoying her time right from the lunch to we departed. I thank the Lord for the time that we spent there and in prems house.

13th Aug 2008- Lata had visited our home around lunch time and for the first time Keerthana had bye to Lata and she was in real happy mood.

MMR-Vaccination

Friday i.e 18th July we have administered MMR vaccination to Keerthana by Ideal Clinic @ RT Nagar, Bangalore-32.

Saturday i.e 19th July Dave, Mercy and Ashish had visited our home for Dinner where keerthana and Ashish played alot. in the picture is the David John(DJ) their second son who is 3 months younger to Keerthana.

Sunday i.e 20th July Ibought IFB Senarita Plus 5kg front load washing machine. the same day myself, Deepika and Keerthana were drenched in the rain on our way to church impartation service as a result Deepika and Keerthana got cold and are under mild medication.

Monday i.e 21st July Nireesh had come from Kannapur as his 2nd year of BBM classes had started.

cedarmont kids

My family would like to thank God for Prem who had given us this DVD (cedarmont kids) which Keerthana is enjoying immensely and i cant put in words as how much Keerthana keeps herself busy in watching, clapping, saying some thing to herself and sitting in pram during which my wife does all the house hold chores.

We also thank our LORD JESUS for protecting keerthana from injuries as she has fallen many times while crawling and standing with some support.

14th July 2008: Ruth Ida's 2nd Birthday for which we were there and had dinner. It was a rainy day.

Milestones

27th June--Vijay Dhar's Daughters Rejoice Crisolite's 1st birthday celebrations Keerthana gave her first kiss to Dada it was most pleasant and happy moment.

1st July--Visited sony handycam showroom to inquire about the handycam and the show room manager Mr.Mansoor requested of taking some snaps of Keerthana and he was glad in having the snaps of keerthana, i asked him to send those snaps.

1st week of July--Keerthana started walking on her own with the little support of sofa.

4th July-Have visited Ideal clinic in R.T.Nagar, Bangalore for Measles vaccination for which Dr.Vanitha said we were little early for that and asked us to come on 18th July for the same.
Keerthana weighted 8.3 kgs and 70cm height.

6th July- We have been to David strictland's El-Bethel Baptist International Church dedication service.

9th Month

Now keerthana is uttering so many words and to grasp only few like dada, adde adde etc, i hope she likes me most thats why dada. the other developments that are she is trying to stand with little support and to our surprice she is taking couple steps on her own with the support of our sofa and bed. and I thank my God for protecting her all these days as she fell couple of times but nothing happened.

This month will be taking her to Doctor to administer any vaccinations.

First Words

Yesterday she uttered her first words like da da tha tha apart from saying ubbu, hai ubbu which she said when she was 4 months old which ultimately become her pet name (ubbu).
being summer we added saesonal fruit Mango to her daily deit which she loves alot additional to her regular banana.

she loves to listen to songs and we used the same for making her to sleep. and the other major milestone that she achieved is ability to crawl, sit and try to stand with some support on her own.

Kurien's Baby Dedication Party

Saturday we took Keerthana to Deepaks house to visit aunt and congratulate Deepak for his Engagement that took place on 29th May. We spent some time watching engagement video and left the place little early and as soon as we reached home it started to rain heavily and we thanked the Lord for his protection otherwise it could have been very terrible in that heavy rain with Keerthana being so little.

Sunday we took Keerthana for Kuriens Baby Dedication party at Campus Crusade Bangalore. It was good and the food was delicious and we fed Keerthana small scoops of IceCream and this is her first time tasting IceCream.

8 th Month

I thank my Lord as my baby enters into her 8th month of her life.
and i could see everyday progress in her motor skill developments as she is able to sit on her own and succeeded in moving forward by crawling.

We changed her diet from regular Dal Palak cerelac along with feeding her milk to rice dal and vegetable cerelac as milk feeding continues.

I and Nireesh successfully finished our first marathon without break and we took 1Hr 26 min and 1Hr 10 minutes to complete the same.

Sunfeast Open 10K-Marathon

Since last two weeks keerthana is also coming to park and looks around as i do my regular jogging so as to participate in Bangalore Sunfeast Open 10K-Marathon which is going to happen on this coming sunday.
now she is very much enjoying with me spending lot of time on weekends with her is most valuable things of my life.
yesterday prem came home to capture on his sony handycam.
now she is making lot of noises and makes every one to laugh along with her.
we fed her some slices of mango fruit of which she found very tasty and interesting.

Youth Camp

Today evening at 5 PM we as a family are leaving to ACTS academy to spend 3 complete days in knowing the LORD more.
Keerthanan is trying to stand and sit whenever she gets even little support.
everyday is like a new learning with our baby as we see her smiling giggling and lauging at will and what not, it is simply awesom,
truly Me and deepika are thankful to our LORD Jesus for blessing and entrusting keerthana in to our hands and we as stewards of GODs property will try to bless her and bring her up in the ways of the LORD.

Baby Dedication

This sunday i.e 20/04/2008 we have dedicated our Keerthana to our LORD JESUS in ALL PEOPLES CHURCH, Bangalore Central by Ps. Ashish Raichur.

2nd wedding Anniversary

We celebrated our second anniversary yesterday by going to Lumbini park near Hebbal along with our Keerthana, She had little vomit and slight fever and have taken her baptist hospital on our way back home but doctors were not available by that time. We prayed to our LORD JESUS and came home and to our surprise she is normal by the time we came home.

we had send our readers digest coupons this week. I brought nokia 2630 mobile phone for my wife so that she can some snaps of baby at home.

Bharathvajan's Wedding

Yesterday we took Keerthana to my ex-colleague Bharaths reception.
there she enjoyed or may be admired by seeing the light arrangements etc to her little eyes.

then she was fine until we both started to have our dinner eventually which made both of us leave that place back to home from the middle of our dinner.

This is our second time that we have taken our baby on my bike that is bajaj Discover 125.

in this reception she met so many my friends like Lata, Silviya, Wilfred, Thilaks Family, Amos, Jayanand, Prashant, Leslie, Ivan.

Since last 2days we are massaging our Baby with Johnson's Baby Olive oil as olive has been mentioned so many places in Bible. Earlier she used to have massage with sesame oil there in her grandparents home. But I insisted my wife to use olive oil for massage because I am a believer of Bible.

Friends Visit

Yestreday David Prem and his family had come home to see keerthana.
Obilesh also joined us and took couple of snaps of my baby along with Ester(Prems daughter) in his Nokia N72 Mobile.

still we are yet to decide on her name and Hasini is the new name that popup now.
and on previous saturday we have taken our baby to Beacon fellowship that happens for Rammaiah collage students.

and the previous week Parmesh family also visited our house to see Keerthana and all of them brought gifts for Baby.

NIDHI

Yesterday we were discussing about keerthanas name changing to NIDHI which means a treasure.
as my wife did not liked the name keerthana very much. anyways we are having our time to decide before the dedication of our baby to the LORD.
and by now she is very much adjusted to the house here in bangalore. yesterday we had nice Bible study on being born again in our home being our baby at home. thank God that she did not make any disturbance during the study as she was engaged with my wife in our bedroom.

Singing Songs

Yesterday i helped my wife in giving bath to keerthana and she always enjoyed her bath. for the first time i sang couple of songs of Jesus to her and eventually she slept even though i am not that good at singing.
Nireesh my brother-in-law who also stays with us is a good companion and now he is in 2nd semester of BBM at presidency collage.

As a family we all love to worship our LORD JESUS CHRIST alone who is so real.
